Proxmox VE is a fully open-source platform based on Debian Linux, designed for running virtual machines and containers. To offer maximum flexibility, it supports two virtualization technologies: Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) and container-based virtualization (LXC). All management tasks can be completed through the web-based interface, allowing even beginners to install and configure Proxmox VE within minutes.
